Steve Timm is the Vice President and General Manager - Information Management, where he is responsible for the development and deployment of Rockwell Collins Information Management Strategies and Solutions. Information Management provides end-to-end solutions that enhance Flight Operations, Maintenance Operations, and Cabin Operations; helping Airlines, Business Jet Operators, and Aircraft OEMS reduce costs, simplify operations and improve customer service.
Steve has been at Rockwell Collins since 1996, serving in multiple leadership roles. He has served as Sr. Director, United States Service Centers and the Director of the Life Cycle Value Stream Management implementation, establishing a new business framework across Rockwell Collins. He’s had corporate responsibility for Lean Electronics at Collins, serving as a catalyst for key business initiatives and held various Information Technology Leadership positions, including the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Steve has a BA in Management Information Systems and Business from Wartburg College and an MBA from the University of Iowa. He is an active member in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the local Chamber of Commerce, is a former President for the Association for Information Technology Professionals and an active coach for various youth sports programs.
